Rajasthan Hill Station Tour

Destination : Delhi - Jodhpur - Mount Abu - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bundi - Pushkar - Jaipur - Ranthambhore - Bharatpur - Agra - Delhi

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi
Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by combined city tour of old and new Delhi visiting Mughal monuments like the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat- the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Humayun Tomb and drive pass to British landmark such as India Gate, President House and govt. Secretariat. Also visit 12th century Minaret- Qutub Minar graceful and well sculptured and stands 75 meters, Lotus Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Delhi / Jodhpur (By Flight)
Morning after breakfast transfer to Domestic Airport to board your flight for Jodhpur. After check inn hotel move to afternoon city tour. Jodhpur – The Sun city known for fascinating history is replete with sagas that tell the tales of proud kings, brave warriors, court intrigues, colourful stories of velour and romance. city visiting magnificent Mehrangarh Fort standing sentinel to the grandeur of the past, and houses a palace houses with rich collection of palanquins, howdas, royal cradels, miniature paintings etc. Down the road from Mehrangarh fort is Jaswant Thada, an attractive marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh some sections of the thin marble walls are translucent feature extolled by resident guides as some thing of a miracle and Umaid Bhawan Palace, Only Palace built in mid 20th century in India this palace is also known as Chittar Palace as local chittar stone is used it is splendid example of Indo-colonial style. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Jodhpur / Mount Abu
Morning after breakfast drive to Mount Abu- Verdant Oasis in the hills, the Pleasant set amidst the lush forested hills. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon relaxingly enjoy the beauty of Mt. Abu situated at 1200 ft above the sea level the only hill station of Rajasthan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Mount Abu
Morning breakfast at hotel and leave for city tour visit the most beautiful and artistic Jain temples called as Dilwara. During the day walk to the Nakki Lake, Honeymoon Point and in the evening have marvelous view of the sunset from the Aravalli range. Overnight in hotel.

Day 06 : Mount Abu/Udaipur
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Udaipur. -City Of Lakes or Veince of East founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1567 AD Udaipur, surrounded by Lovely land around the azure water lakes hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravali ranges, upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening optional visit to Lok kala Mandir for cultural program on direct payment basis. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Udaipur
Morning breakfast at hotel and leave for city tour of Udaipur visiting City Palace - The largest palace complex of Rajasthan it is a completely white structure standing majestically on a hill surrounded by crenellated walls. Lake palace or Jag niwas - one of the most beautiful palaces of the world, Jag Mandir - The island palace was commenced Maharana Jagat Singh and Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of the Maids) etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Udaipur/Chittorgarh/Kota
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Kota. Enroute visit Chittorgarh town known for its massive fort atop a hill. This quintessence of Rajput heroism, Chittorgarh is proud witness of the bravery and chivalry of its inhabitants. Other places to see are The Palace of Rana Kumbha, Vijay stambh or Tower of Victory, Kirti Stambh or Tower of Fame etc. Thereafter continue your drive to Kota upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Kota
Morning breakfast at hotel and followed by City tour of Kota visiting Garh (Palace Fort) the impressive fort stands like a sentinel over the present day Chambal valley project, City Palace which has marvelous mirror work, ebony and ivory inland doors and houses an impressive collection of Rajput miniature paintings, Chambal garden, Brij Vilas Palace houses rare collection of coins, manuscripts and collection of Hadoti sculpture, and Jag mandir and aesthetic monument built in middle of Kishore sagar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Kota/Bundi/Pushkar
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Holy city Pushkar. Enroute visit Bundi - The named after Bunda, a Meena Chieftain. Bundi nestles along a narrow gorge in the hillstown have fascinating Hada Palaces, like Chhatra Mahal or Palace of Tower, Taragarh Fort - The star fort most majestic white fort crowning the wooded hill, Chitrashala, Sukh Mahal, etc. Thereafter continue your drive to Pushkar upon arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon Visit the Only temple of the Lord Brahma in the world on the bank of Pushkar lake and also you can see the Pushkar fair ground famous for the Annual fair being held every year in the month of November. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Pushkar/Jaipur
Morning after leisure breakfast at hotel and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. rest of the day at leisure Evening optional visit to Raj Mandir cinema hall on direct payment basis. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Jaipur
Morning after breakfast and leave for full day city tour to Amber fort and ride the hill on the back of decorated elephant and to the Pink city (Jaipur) built in the 1727 A. D. To visit Hawa Mahal - Palace of winds , City Palace Complex which houses the rare and rich collection of ornaments, arms, royal costumes, carpets and decorative art objects of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art and architecture. , Jantar Mantar- A 18th century observatory and Birla Mandir. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13 : - Jaipur – Ranthambhore
After breakfast drive to Ranthambhore
RANTHAMBHORE : - Ranthambhore National Park, before a princely game conserve is the scene where the celebrated Indian Tiger is best seen. Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve lies on the junction of Aravali and Vindhaya just 14 Kms from Sawai Madhopur in Eastern Rajasthan. It sprawls over a varying and undulating landscape. The scenery changes dramatically from gentle and steep slopes of the Vindhaya and sharp and conical hills of the Aravali. A tenth century fort also blends amicably with the background. Pure sands of Dhok (Anogeissus pendula) interspersed with grasslands at the plateaus, meadows in valleys and luxuriant foliage around the canals make the jungle. Three big lakes – Padam Talab (meaning Lake), Mallik Talab and Raj Bagh – are similar turquoises studded in the vast forest that abounds with aquatic vegetation including duckweeds, lilies and lotus.Over night stay at hotel.

Day 14 : - Ranthambhore
AM & PM Jungle Ride and meals on Board.
Significant geological feature within the park is the 'Great Boundary Fault' where the Vindhaya plateau meets the Aravali range. The Rivers Chambal in the South and the Banas in the North bound the National Park. The park is dotted with steep rocky hills and the dominating architecture of Ranthambhore Fort (built in the 10th century), adds to its landscape. The rugged park terrain alternates between dry deciduous forest, open grassy meadow, dotted by several lakes and rivers that are only made passable by rough roads built and maintained by the Forest Service. The tiger is not the only attraction at Ranthambhore; although it is the one park resident that people come to see. A variety of birds including Owlets, the ubiquitous Langur (monkey), Leopard, Caracal, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, marsh Crocodiles, Wild Boar, Bears and various species of Deer are the other attractions.

Day 15 : - Ranthambhore –Bharatpur (By Train 3 hrs )
The history of Bharatpur dates back to the epic age, when the Matsya Kingdom flourished here in the 5th century BC The matsya were allies of the Pandavas in the Mahabharat war. According to tradition the name of Bharatpur is traced to Bharat, the brother of lord Rama of Ayodhya whose other brother Laxman was given the high place of family deity of the ruling family of Bharatpur. His name also appears in the state seals and coat-of-arms. Bharatpur, which is also called the Eastern gateway of Rajasthan, was found by Maharaja Suraj mal in 1733 AD. Raja Badan Singh’s adopted son, Suraj Mal had shown signs of promise, when he captured the fort of Bharatpur from Khemkaran, the rival chief, whom he killed and thus laid the foundation of Bharatpur City. Maharaja Suraj Mal displayed immense courage and carved a niche for himself in the midst of political disorder. Gathering around him fiercely martial Jat peasants, he went from one success to another. He accompanied Emperor Mohammed Shah against Ali Mohammed Ruhela and in 1748 AD, at the battle of Bagru he led the Jaipur vanguard against the Marathas. He also defeated the commander- in –Chief of the Mughal emperor. He built numerous forts and palaces across the kingdom including the Pleasure Palace complex at Deeg. Bharatpur is today known the world – over for its Keoladeo Ghana National Park.

Day 16 : - Bharatpur – Agra
After breakfast the highlight of the day - The Taj Mahal (Please note that Taj Mahal is closed on Friday), which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653.

later on proceed for remaining sight seeing of Agra , which include, Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structues; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; Later on departures transfer to Agra Railway station, to catch the train to Umeria. Today we will provide u packed diner for this over night train journey.

Day 17 : Agra/Delhi
Morning breakfast at hotel and drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 18 : Delhi
Morning breakfast at hotel. In time meeting at the hotel and transfer to airport for onward journey.
